Abstract
For the time being I have my own small company and do some bookkeeping. I decided to use the open-source software ledger.

Introduction
Ledger-cli does double-entry accounting, and is very simple and powerful. There is support in emacs and other open-source software. It has been very useful for my accounting needs.
